This is the series-event of this end of the year on France 2. Vortexpartly shot in northern Finistère and in particular in Brest, will be broadcast from January 2023.
Tomer Sisley (Ludovic), Camille Claris (Mélanie), Zineb Triki (Parvana), are some of the actors in this series of six 52-minute episodes.
The presentation of the series took place in Paris on Wednesday 30 November. The technical dimension of the work was particularly commented upon (read the synopsis, in box, below). “The main actor is in a virtual reality room and his ex-wife on a beach in Brittany. It is a series of anticipation, an unprecedented virtual reality experience. All the corsen beachwhere we shot, had to be 3D scanned,” the production team pointed out.
“I play the same person at two different times in their life. It’s a risky, challenging project”, appreciated Tomer Sisley, who is at the heart of a love dilemma in fiction.
Synopsis
2025. Captain of the judicial police in Brest, Ludovic lost the love of his life, Mélanie, 27 years ago. The mother of her daughter Juliette died in what appeared to be an accident… But suddenly, thanks to a time rift that opens inside a reconstructed crime scene in virtual reality, they can communicate between 1998 and 2025 ! Ludovic warns Mélanie: she will die in 11 days! But saving her from certain death means that Ludovic risks losing his life in the present, the one he took so long to rebuild: his new wife, Parvana and their son Sam…
Several highlights were filmed on Corsen beach in Plouarzel. It was to be at the Petit Minou beach in Plouzané, but for questions of orientation of the sun, in particular, that of Corsen was chosen.

The screenwriters of the series (Camille Couasse and Sarah Farkas) imagined the story in the city of Ponant because “we found that Brest was beautifulwe fell in love with the landscape and the atmosphere”.
Hundreds of Breton extras
Locals were part of the adventure. A large part of thetechnical team was from Brittany. Nearly 300 local extras were also mobilized for the roles of bathers, police officers, doctors…
