LiViCi – Live and Virtual Circus

It’s a whole new type of “cross-reality” entertainment as the Canadian company calls it: as we are used to presenting it to you in “Connected”: a single live event experienced simultaneously by spectators in person and a remote online audience attending through a livestream video and virtual world where attendees can experience the show live from Carry Me Home’s 3D digital world

This is done in partnership with Shocap Entertainment, Ltd., and the concert you will be able to attend is that of Didier Stowe. How it works ?

Through a combination of music, circus, dance and theatrical performances, as well as real-time motion capture and virtual reality, Carry Me Home invites you to an inspiring and fascinating event. The show, presented simultaneously indoors and in the virtual universe, is accessible wherever you are. It’s a tribute to the mind’s incredible ability to imagine, dream and create – a unique human trait that connects us all.

One day, two stage shows, with interactive online livestream.

The exclusive event is hosted and broadcast live worldwide from renowned company Animatrik Film Design’s studio in Burnaby, Vancouver. In-person viewers have the option of accessing a number of VR headsets to experience rich immersion in the virtual world and interactions during the livestream. Online participants have the choice to watch the video stream, or move around the virtual arena and watch from different points of view (POV) – even through the eyes of circus performers throughout #TogetherExperiences. The interactive 3D experience is accessible from any web browser, on any laptop or desktop computer, on VR headsets and mobile devices. The highly anticipated show features the music and lyrics of acrobat-turned-singer-songwriter Didier Stowe, known for his performances at world-renowned festivals, including the “Festival du cirque de Monte-Carlo” and “Le biggest cabaret in the world”, and the “Joya” show by Cirque du Soleil in Mexico. Audiences in person, as well as online and VR viewers, will journey and engage in the maze of the creative mind, with thrilling acts performed by acrobatic performers who puppet their virtual avatars into evocative universes.
