  • A software installation “health check” tool showing efficiency and monitoring potentials;
  • A unique customer experience presenting the solution portfolio with augmented and virtual reality applications.

Heusenstamm, May 16, 2022

Dematic puts its customers and their needs on the stage when it attends LogiMat, Stuttgart May 31-June 2.

To realize this interactive experience, Dematic will reveal 15 realizations where innovation can be experienced live using 3D configurations, 360° tours and augmented reality. This approach makes it possible to visualize, test and remotely control specific and fully automated warehouse solutions, all this live from the show!

Under a new tagline, #bringiton, Dematic plans to encourage booth visitors and customers to use new material flow solutions to take advantage of emerging opportunities and turn them into competitive advantage. Dematic aims to address today’s challenges faced by intralogistics customers, demonstrating that it is a partner of choice to provide the most suitable solutions. The two-story Dematic booth is located in Hall 1 at booth B37.

Customer experience is Dematic’s top priority at LogiMAT. In an ongoing dialogue with customers, we want to understand their requirements across the entire intralogistics value chain so that we can help them strengthen their long-term competitiveness with innovative solutions tailored to their exact needs. “, Explain Bernard Biolchini, Executive Vice President (EVP) EMEA of Dematic. The company has identified the main challenges the industry is currently facing, such as overcoming labor shortages and space constraints, achieving reliable delivery times despite raw material shortages, planning for the reliability of project costs, changes in consumer behavior and the continuation of digitalization initiatives.

Bernard Biolchini added : “ Over the past two years, many operating parameters have changed and require new thinking and a deep understanding of our customers’ needs. At LogiMAT, we want to captivate our visitors with new approaches and present them in an original way. “Bernard Biolchini also mentioned that customers will also have the opportunity to meet many Directors from the EMEA region, which has evolved in early 2022 to better meet local customer needs through Dematic’s global presence.

Visitors to the Dematic booth – B37 in Hall 1 – can get information and exchange ideas as they usually do, but they can also see demonstrations of new products on site.

Jens Hardenacke, Managing Director Dematic Central EuropeExplain : ” Our visitors will not only be able to attend demonstrations of our solutions, but they will also be able to experience them live in an innovative way. “Thus, visitors have the opportunity to first visualize their individual automation project in a 3D view and then to operate it live. They can use virtual reality glasses for remote maintenance of the machines, which is an example of how the concept applies.”I look forward to showing in a more interactive way how Dematic can help its customers from start to finish of their automation project with our wide range of advanced applications that showcase the best technology options on the market and demonstrate our ability to meet to the specific needs of the different sectors we serve“.

In addition to groundbreaking e-commerce, mixed case processing, pallet storage and mobile automation solutions, Dematic also plans to unveil its new remote visual inspection service for intralogistics equipment at the show. This drone service can significantly reduce the time and effort required for maintenance, without compromising quality. Regular security checks and visual inspections can be carried out using drones. Dematic will perform live drone flights from its German headquarters in Heusenstamm – near Frankfurt – at LogiMAT. Dematic also plans to demonstrate the use of a digital twin for predictive maintenance. “Thanks to the digital twin, we can also carry out a “health check” of the installations with interactive dashboards, digital presentations and virtual reality applications, reducing time and costs for the customer during maintenance“, Explain Jens Hardenacke.
