Jeu de Mondes 2.0 is proposed by a collective of artists called hall noir, under the leadership of David Legrand, including some students from the art school of Bourges. Complete immersion in virtual worlds. A very big job on the images, the sound and the animation which will really make you forget reality. A truly unique experience.

It will take you a few minutes to equip yourself: virtual reality headset, controllers, and headphones : ” We show the visitor some elements of understanding about the space and the way he will interact explains Andy, cultural mediator. We have a return of the helmet with a screen behind us and we show them what they are going to see to explain the limits to them and prevent them from taking the real walls too.

A bit like an android, but you’re ready for a big trip. Nine worlds on the program spread over three universes : terrestrial, spatial, without forgetting the shallows: ” They go from one world to another by entering a virtual teleporter “ explains Sybille Raffort, mediator of the exhibition. ” There, he will enter the world imagined by Loriane Rollot. a world where bodies express their emotions even those that are usually hidden. It feels like a dream.” Creatures come your way. Woojung, a Korean student from the art school of Bourges created one of the futuristic worlds: ” When you enter my world, it’s the last of the journey, you see small pieces of geometric style floating in space. When you approach them, they come together and become a luminosphere. And the story begins with texts that appear. I decline in particular the sentence found in children’s stories: they lived happily and had many children.

This pair is a little upset at the end of the visit, but delighted : ” As soon as we put on the helmet, we immediately lose our bearings. We can no longer move in the same way. I had never done this before and it is really to do again! The universes are extraordinary” enthuses this young woman. His companion takes a few moments to come back to reality: ” Me, I’m still completely transported by the walk. sometimes we get certain messages. There are writings about the environmental crisis. The return to earth is a bit violent! “
