Do you want to treat yourself to a new smartphone but your budget is limited to 200 €? We have selected the Poco M3 Pro, Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, realme 8, TCL 20R 5G and Oppo A54 5G for you. But which of these is really for you? Here are some cross comparison elements to help you in your choice.
If you are looking for original shapes on the mobiles in our selection, know that this is not their main asset given that they offer rather conventional designs with different colors or even variations for the realme 8 or the Oppo A54 which, for the latter, even presents a two-tone version. The headlight units are installed at the rear, in the upper left corner. They are rather discreet. For the dimensions, it is the realme 8 which is the thinnest with 7.99 mm thick followed by the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 with 8.29 mm then the Oppo A54 5G with 8.4 mm then the TCL 20R 5G and finally with the Poco M3 Pro. The latter is the heaviest in our comparison of the day with 190 grams, like the Oppo A54 5G. The TCL 20R 5G weighs 186 grams compared to 179 grams for the Xiaomi and 177 grams for the lightest of all, the realme 8.
What screen quality on these affordable smartphones?
The largest screen is installed on the TCL 20R 5G with 6.52 inches diagonal on an LCD panel but it displays a definition of only 720×1600 pixels whereas all the others offer 1080×2400 pixels which are therefore more readable. The Poco M3 Pro and Oppo A54 5G also use an LCD panel and are not very far from the diagonal of the TCL since they offer a dimension of 6.5 inches. All these LCD screens benefit from a frequency of 90Hz refresh which allows for rather fluid scrolling. On the other hand, the screens of Redmi Note 10 and realme 8 take advantage of a AMOLED panel better quality with deep blacks and bright colors but they are 60 Hz. These two smartphones are limited to 4G while the other three can access the faster 5G telecommunication networks.
All offer Wi-Fi 5 and only the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 does not offer NFC for contactless payment. They both accept two SIM cards. The fingerprint reader is installed on the profile on the Poco M3 Pro, Redmi Note 10 and Oppo A54 5G while it is under the screen on the realme 8 and on the back on the TCL 20R 5G.

Which offers the most power?
If you are looking for the most powerful mobile in our comparison of the day, the TCL 20R 5G and the Poco M3 Pro share the first step with their MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset and their 4 GB of RAM but the realme 8 is just behind with its MediaTek Helio G95 processor and 6 of RAM. It is followed by the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 with its Soc Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 and 4 GB of RAM dominating the Oppo A54 5G with its Snapdragon 480 chip and 4 GB of RAM. The Poco M3 Pro, realme 8 and Oppo A54 5G have a 5000 mAh capacity battery against 5020 mAh for the Xiaomi and 4500 mAh for the TCL. It is the Redmi Note 10 which charges the fastest supporting the load at 33 watts against 30 watts for the realme 8, 18 watts for the TCL 20R 5G and the Poco M3 Pro and only 9 watts for the Oppo A54 5G.
Finally, for the photo part, the realme 8 seems the best equipped with a 64+8+2+2 megapixel configuration on the back followed by the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 and Oppo A54 5G sharing the 48+8+2+2 megapixel configuration. The Poco M3 Pro has 48 + 2 + 2 megapixels, without the ultra wide-angle sensor, while the TCL is content with 13 + 2 + 2 megapixels on the back. The Xiaomi and the Poco have an infrared transmitter to make them universal remotes with the application that goes well.
