Redmi Note 11T Pro and Redmi Note 11T Pro+ are official in China and will be renamed Poco X4 GT and Poco X4 GT Pro

Particularly productive in the manufacture of smartphones, the Xiaomi brand offers a large number of models in different markets. The game is sometimes to propose a model in a country which will be named differently in others which would be the case for the Redmi Note 11T Pro and Redmi Note 11T Pro + which have just been announced in China and which we should soon know under the names of Poco X4 GT and Poco X4 GT Pro.

Although many products are now launched on a global scale, some markets may have some small specificities. Thus, in the world of mobile telephony, more productive brands can resort to rebranding marketing techniques. Thus, a device that is marketed in one country under one name can also be marketed under another name in another state of the planet. This is regularly the case with Xiaomi, the manufacturer having many series in its catalog. The new smartphones Redmi Note 11T Pro and Redmi Note 11T Pro + have just been made official for the Chinese market. They succeed those of the Redmi Note 10T series and offer significant improvements. However, according to a tipster considered serious and several rumors, it seems that these two smartphones will be marketed under the respective names of Poco X4 GT and Poco X4 GT Pro.

Differences despite the renaming?

However, despite this renaming, the two smartphones Poco X4 GT and Poco X4 GT Pro would have one or two different elements compared to the technical sheets of the Redmi Note 11T Pro and Redmi Note 11T Pro + sincethey are expected to have a 108 megapixel main photo sensor against a 64 megapixel module on the model presented in China.

Technically, the Redmi Note 11T Pro is equipped with a 6.6-inch 144 Hz Dolby Vision compatible IPS LCD screen perforated to make room for the 16-megapixel front photo sensor installed in front. There’s a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 128 or 256GB of internal storage space to animate it along with a 5080mAh capacity battery that supports charging at 67 watts. The mobile is compatible with 5G, Wi-Fi 6 E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC and offers an audio jack for connecting headphones. There is a fingerprint reader on the profile. For photos, there’s a 64+8+2 megapixel setup on the rear. The mobile runs Android 12 with an MIUI 13 software overlay. The Poco X4 GT Pro should therefore follow this technical sheet to the letter apart from the main photo sensor which would be a 108 megapixel module.

For the Redmi Note 11T Pro +, it is a fairly similar configuration, especially with regard to the screen and the chipset which are identical on both devices. The storage memory can go up to 512 GB with the possibility of inserting a micro SD memory card. The battery here has a capacity of 4400 mAh supporting charging at 120 watts. It has the same connectivity as the Pro model and an identical photo configuration.

For the moment, we have no indication of a launch date for the Poco X4 GT and Poco X4 GT Pro, the manufacturer having recently announced the Poco F4 GT.
