Mobile phone plan. To celebrate 2023, this operator draws a price of MADNESS

Are you tired of paying a small fortune for a mobile plan where you only use a tiny part of the content? We understand you. Here is a less expensive and very complete solution.

Telecom operators love to sell 100 or 200 GB mobile plans when (almost) no one uses them. By selling oversized subscriptions, they secure higher revenue quite easily. The MVNO Prixtel takes them against the grain with a personalized and unique package to start 2023.

There are several essential points to understand the Oxygen mobile plan from Prixtel. First of all, it’s a package that comes by default with unlimited calls, SMS and MMS and 50 GB (on the SFR network) for 9.99 euros per month. This non-binding subscription has a second advantage: it gives you all the flexibility if you need an additional envelope of data – and this is not out of the package.

In its DNA, Prixtel wanted to develop a flexible mobile plan that allows its users to pay as closely as possible to their actual consumption. The monthly minimum is therefore 50 GB per month for 9.99 euros. But if you need to go up punctually to 90 GB, it will cost you a total of 12.99 euros. And if you even need to go up to 130 GB, the package will then drop to 15.99 euros over the month.

Month after month, the MVNO (and you too) looks at how much you actually consumed. Depending on your use, you will therefore be switched to one of the three levels. And unlike the non-package which can cost a fortune for a few MB, here it’s very different: you have a kind of 3-in-1 package. And each of the bearings is very competitive compared to the rest of the market.

A mobile plan adapted to 99% of customers

In France, almost the entire population consumes less than 50 GB per month. With Wi-Fi generally available at home, at work and on the go, such an envelope seems very substantial. In the end, this Prixtel solution allows you to fall back below 10 euros per month for your mobile plan.

While operators have all significantly increased their prices due to the cost of energy and the deployment of 5G, it is becoming almost impossible to find a package below 10 euros. We hardly saw any in 2022, and they were all very uncompetitive. In the Oxygen formula here, you are entitled to an envelope that meets almost all uses.

Of course, if you have abnormal use of your data on your smartphone (regular connection sharing, downloading large files, etc.), the formula may sometimes seem a little limited. In this case, you can opt for one of the other two offers put forward by Prixtel. They follow the same structure as the Oxygen package except that they have higher tiers.

For example, the Le grand package comes directly with a first level of 100 GB for 10.99 euros per month. Calls, SMS and MMS are also unlimited. The two upper levels are 120 and 140 GB for respectively 13.99 euros and 16.99 euros per month. Please note, this price changes after six months (which is not the case with Oxygen) to rise by 3 euros on each level.

Prixtel offers extreme flexibility

The third and last subscription in the range is called The Giant and it is indeed giant: its minimum level is 140 GB and it can climb up to 200 GB per month according to your needs. The lowest tier starts at 12.99 euros and goes up to 18.99 euros for the 200 GB tier. Here too, each of the tiers will increase after the first 6 months.

In any case, Prixtel does not oblige you to anything: whatever mobile plan you choose, you are not committed. This allows you to freely terminate your contract if you are no longer satisfied. In a few clicks, you can go to him and transfer your phone number from your current operator. With the same procedure, you can leave Prixtel to go elsewhere.

What is certain is that the Oxygen formula with 50 GB for 9.99 euros per month is a very good deal. From a value for money point of view, you won’t find better. Prixtel also has a small advantage that no one else offers at the moment: its mobile plan is carbon neutral. It offsets all the CO2 emissions of your subscription, which is a good argument in the current context. Cheer !
