In late 2021, Hytera began shipping its next-generation DMR two-way radios, the H-series, to global markets. Designed and developed on new hardware and software platforms, the H-Series is a complete generation ahead of what the market offers. In addition to mobile radios and repeaters, the HP7 (HP78X, HP70X) and HP6 (HP68X/HP60X) portable radios were released throughout the year and proved to be a commercial success. The HP5 series (HP56X, HP50X) now join and strengthen this offer.

The HP5 series, designed for business users, excels in the balance of features, usability and price. With a sensitivity of 0.18 μV (‒122 dBm), HP56X and HP50X provide exceptional coverage in terms of communication range and quality. Users at work sites (factories, office buildings, shopping malls, campuses…) can make stable voice calls at the coverage edge. With ease of use as a major advantage, HP5 series adopts Type-C port; therefore, users can use a standard USB cable to charge at any time with a charger or power bank. Like the HP7 models, the HP5 is waterproof and dustproof (IP67 standard).

GC550 2K Mini Body Camera, a new member of Hytera body camera family, is the smallest and lightest. Slide switch allows user to quickly start recording without even looking at it in case of emergency; it also indicates the status of the record based on its position. The 2K HD wide-angle camera records more details in a super wide 150° field of view. Using starlight night vision technology, GC550 shoots ultra-sharp and colorful images in extremely low light conditions.

“The resounding success of the H-series of DMR radios is a recognition of Hytera’s strength in product development and of the brand itself. This time, we are adding HP5 to this line of flagship products to expand its market presence and bring innovation and value to even more customers,” said Gerald Zhang, Director of Global Marketing and Solutions, Hytera. “We decided to start on the 30e Hytera’s anniversary by releasing long-awaited products. It reminds us that we must always continue to create value for users and partners in the form of innovations and new products, something we have also learned from 30 years of growth.”
