Who says December says Advent period and end of year celebrations. The perfect time to watch movies or series with family or friends. That’s good, Disney + has announced its schedule of programs that will be released throughout the month, with, among other things, a special episode of Family Weekend, Star Wars IX or two Spider-Man films.
Night falls early at the moment and we can’t wait to get home to enjoy a good movie or a good series on the sofa. Thanks to SVoD service Disney+the program will be loaded during this Advent period with several films and series, which are not only about Christmas.
As a reminder, it is possible to sign up for Disney+ alone (8.99 euros per month) or in Canal+ subscription.

Family Weekend: A win-win Christmas
Series Family weekend, with Eric Judor and Daphné Côté-Hallé returns for a special Christmas episode this December 9. The very recomposed family tribe, often chaotic, always funny, with Fred the father and his daughters, but also his partner Emma. The latter is preparing to spend her first Christmas in France, but she does not have the same customs as her new family. An incredible adventure will ensue, around the family.

Lost Treasures: Montezuma’s Secret
This ten-episode series based on Benjamin Gates, a kind ofIndianaJones family version. We follow the adventure of Jess Morales, a brilliant and resourceful young girl, who goes in search of a mysterious treasure in a plot about the history of her family. Accompanied by her friends Tasha, Oren, Ethan, Liam, Billie and Ross, we will see her investigating the depths of Panama.

The Patient
This ten-episode thirty-minute thriller series chronicles the hostage taking of psychotherapist Dr. Alan Strauss (played by the excellent Steve Carell) by his patient Sam Fortner, who is actually a serial killer who wishes to curb his murderous impulses. Through his own experience, Alan will seek inspiration and have to face his own problems, including the death of his wife.

Movies Coming to Disney+ in December
The return of Spider-Man
The famous trilogy from the early 2000s will finally be complete this December 2. Until now, there was only Spider Man 2 available on Disney+; the three Sam Raimi films will all be present, enough to follow the adventures of the spider-man, embodied by the incredible Tobey Maguire in films acclaimed by critics.
