His testimony was eagerly awaited. Back in court several months after a media trial, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard once again dissected their relationship. The ex-spouses, who accuse each other of defamation, both spoke in court. After the testimony of the actor, it was the turn of the actress to be called to the bar, on Friday, May 6. In tears, Amber Heard accused her ex-husband of repeatedly raping and beating her. A terrible speech, followed assiduously by many Internet users. And on social networks, they are several to accuse the actress ofAquaman for having plagiarized a famous film: The Talented Mr Ripleya feature film directed in 1999 by Anthony Minghella with Jude Law, Matt Damon, Gwyneth Paltrow and Kate Blanchett.

“Check that out. Look what Amber Heard said on the stand yesterday in relation to The Talented Mr. Ripley’s lines”, wrote one of them, posting two screenshots. On one of them? A dialogue between the characters played by Gwyneth Paltrow and Matt Damon who talk about that of Jude Law: “The thing with Dicke…it’s like the sun is shining on you, and it’s beautiful. And then he forgets about you and it’s very, very cold. When you have his attention, you feel like to be the only person in the world, that’s why everyone loves him so much.” Social media users accused Amber Heard of using the same monologue in her testimony, replacing Dickie with Johnny. Especially when she said: “When I was with Johnny, I felt like the most beautiful person in the world”.

Depp-Heard trial: when is the verdict expected?

Still on Twitter, conservative journalist Alana Mastrangelo has also posted several videos which they say show that Amber Heard was inspired by this film during her testimony. But also film Mildred Pierce’s Novel. “Amber Heard: ‘He told me, ‘I’d rather cut my hand than ever put it on you’. Mildred Pierce after slapping Veda: ‘I would have rather cut my hand'”she wrote. For the moment, spokespersons and lawyers for Amber Heard have not responded to these accusations and the trial of the two ex-spouses continues.. And those of Johnny Depp destroy the defense of the actress. “As Mr. Depp’s lawyer correctly predicted in his opening argument last month, Miss Heard evidently gave ‘the performance of a lifetime’ during her direct examination”said one of them.
