• Slow charging (and no charging pad).
• Better telephoto, but still a bit behind Android competitors (especially at night).
• Not a featherweight.

Without upsetting the established order, the iPhone 14 Pro Max marks a new way of using your iPhone thanks to the addition of the Dynamic Island. But the island is not everything and Cupertino has not forgotten to consolidate what makes its strength, namely the photo, the screen and the autonomy, to the point of making it one of the most tempting iPhones of these years, at least one of the most mature. If it is not perfect, it is really not far from it, the photo being still a point of dissonance which one can only hope to see being settled by its successor.
