  • If your iPhone is stuck on the Apple logo screen, there are several ways you can troubleshoot and fix this problem.
  • Make sure your phone is properly charged, and if it’s connected to a computer, replace the USB cable.
  • You can also try to force restart your iPhone, use recovery mode or DFU mode and do a factory reset.

It’s rare for an iPhone to have a serious boot problem, but it can happen. For example, you may be trying to restore an iPhone from a backup or migrating data from another iOS device, and your iPhone inexplicably gets stuck at the Apple logo. Or maybe you just turned off the phone and it stays on the Apple logo when you turn it back on. If you can’t get rid of the Apple logo, here are eight ways to troubleshoot and fix your iPhone problem.

Make sure your phone is charged

While it’s unlikely to fix the issue, doing this troubleshooting step has a chance of pushing your phone past the logo screen and giving you more time to see if the iPhone will eventually leave the logo screen behind. logo all by itself without additional steps. Just make sure your iPhone is sufficiently charged: Plug the phone into a charger and leave it there for an hour or two to make sure the phone has enough power to complete the boot process.

  • iPhone 8 or later. press the Turn up the sound button. press the Lower the volume button. Press and hold the Power until you see the recovery mode screen.
  • iPhone 7 Family. Press and hold both Lower the volume and the Power buttons. Hold the buttons until you see the recovery mode screen.

Open iTunes and when asked to update or restore, choose Update. This will update your iPhone to the latest version of iOS. If it doesn’t fix the problem, repeat the process and choose Restorewhich will erase your iPhone and remove all your apps and personal data.

Hard reset your phone with DFU mode

You may be able to fix the problem with the iPhone’s Device Firmware Update (DFU) mode. Because it modifies aspects of your iPhone’s software at a very low level, below the operating system, it’s inherently risky, so you might want to register it as a last resort. Here’s everything you need to know to try your iPhone’s DFU mode.

Another alternative is to use a third-party repair program. iMyFone Fixpo is an iOS system recovery app that can fix some very annoying iPhone issues. You install it on your Mac or Windows computer and the app connects to your iPhone via USB. To use Fixppo, you need to subscribe to a plan, which starts at $30 for one month of service.
