Within the new organizational structure of Rhenus, Markus Sandbrink is now responsible for the entire IT environment of the group and for the implementation of the digital strategy of the logistics provider. ” With more than 25 years of experience in IT service management and program development within multinational organizations, Markus Sandbrink can look back on significant successes in implementing complex and large-scale IT projects. », declares Tobias Bartz, CEO of the Rhenus Group.

Markus Sandbrink, who will report directly to Tobias Bartz in his new position, will continue to coordinate Rhenus’ IT systems for the entire group. Markus Sandbrink has already set the main priority for his work in his new role. “We will continue to standardize our IT systems environment so that we can serve our customers even more efficiently with our entire product portfolio. The focus will clearly be on supply chains with a high degree of digitalisation, based on secure IT platforms and innovative technologies.
