In three years after the binthe AIM offers a university education that combines theory and practice, with an emphasis on a professionalization progressive for a rapid insertion, while guaranteeing a sufficient scientific level to allow continuing studies for those who want it.

The holder of the GOAL IT specialty is technically and methodologically competent while being aware of current issues (data security, cloud computing, artificial intelligence), on societal, legal, ethical and environmental issues related to digital uses.

1– IT GOAL course creation of applications: design, development, validation

This journey focuses on the software life cycle: from the expression of the customer’s need, to the designthe programmingvalidation and maintenance of the app.

2– IT GOAL course administration, management and exploitation of data

This journey allows you to administer data warehouses and visualize this data to develop decision-making applications.

3– IT GOAL course integration of applications and management of the information system

This journey leads the student to develop applications and manage digital transformation projects for organizations.

4– IT GOAL course deployment of communicating and secure applications

This journey revolves around two axes: on the one hand, the installation and configuration of operating systems, the deployment and securing of networks; on the other hand, the installation and configuration of application services as well as the development of client-server applications meeting the requirements of an organization.

What is the BUT IT program?

the GOAL IT specialty is accompanied by a overall hourly volume of 1,800 to 2,000 hours over the 3 years and 600 hours of tutored projects.

In all, six skills are to be acquired in IT PURPOSE and from the second year, and all courses combined, but some will be less in-depth depending on the journey.

IT BUT program: what skills will you develop?

Skills common to all courses:
• Perform application development: develop – that is, design, code, test and integrate – an IT solution for a client.
• Optimize computer applications: propose computer applications optimized according to specific criteria (execution time, precision, consumption of resources, etc.).
• Administer complex communicating IT systems: install, configure, make available, maintain infrastructure, services and networks in operational conditions and optimize an organisation’s IT system.

In-depth skills according to the courses:

Application creation course: design, development, validation

• This path focuses on skills 1, 2 and 6 of the program and delves less into skills 3, 4 and 5.

2. Course data administration, management and exploitation

• This path focuses on the last 3 skills of the program and less on the first 3.

3. Course integration of applications and management of the information system

• This path focuses on skills 1, 5 and 6 of the program and goes less far on skills 2, 3 and 4.

4. Course deployment of communicating and secure applications

• This path focuses on skills 1, 3 and 6 of the program and places less emphasis on skills 2, 4 and 5.

Organization of the training:
• The weekly volume of courses given in IT BUT is 35 to 40 hours. They come in the form of CM (lectures) in a large group, TD (directed work) and of TP (practical work) in small groups.
• Classes are taught by lecturer-researchers and external contributors from the business world.
• When prepared in alternation, it is expected that the overall hourly volume will be reduced by 15% in the first year, 20% in the second year, and 15% in the third year. If followed in initial trainingit is necessary to count 22 to 26 weeks of internships and hours of PPP (personal and professional project) to make the student actor of his training and allow him to project himself into his future job.
