IT: Equadex (Pamiers, Toulouse, Pau) acquired by the Inherent group (Adista)

the essential
The Equadex IT group, which has three sites in Occitania (Pamiers, Toulouse and Pau) and around sixty employees, was bought out by Inherent (Adista). A great opportunity for the company, which will now benefit from a “national showcase” and plans “rapid growth in its activity”, with greater technical resources, explains Franck Marty, founder and president of Equadex.

On the one hand, the company Equadex (63 employees, 2022 turnover: €8.20 million), specializing in auditing, consulting, integration, development of business applications, connectivity operator and deployment computer solutions; on the other, the Inherent group (1,000 employees, 2022 turnover: 230 million euros), based in Maxéville (Meurthe-et-Moselle): two companies of very different sizes, but which complement each other perfectly, geographically in particular. “Inhérent is struggling to establish itself between Bordeaux and Montpellier, confides Franck Marty, founder and president of the company. We will be responsible for this sector. For our part, we will benefit from a national showcase, from an expansion of our services, for example in the area of cybersecurity and greater technical resources”. A win-win takeover, which “will not change anything for our staff and our customers”, reassures Franck Marty.

“A context of high concentration”

“We operate in a sector that is experiencing a context of high concentration, continues the business manager. I was often asked, but I did not follow up. There, I had a benevolent ear for the proposal of Inherent , a company whose values we share, in terms of customer proximity and well-being at work in particular. It’s a smooth transition. “Without major upheaval. Franck Marty, however, foresees the eventual disappearance of the Equadex brand, to take on the Inherent commercial image.

Currently, Equadex has 63 employees, including 20 in Pamiers, 3 in Pau and around 40 in Toulouse. The Inhérent Toulouse team will soon strengthen that of the Ville Rose agency.

A data center… expandable

The company also manages a data center, in the Gabriélat area, in Pamiers (a computer farm), “of modest size”, notes Franck Marty. The company explains that it has chosen to invest moderately in this area of activity. Knowing that the evolution of the technique makes it possible to save space and consume less energy. Equadex has also invested in photovoltaic carports, which allow it to limit the environmental footprint of the company, which consumes its own electricity production.

An extension of the data center is however possible, on the right-of-way of the company, founded in 2016.
