This is the idea of ​​Laurent De La Clergerie, the president of the LDLC group. In 2020, he made the bet to set up the 32-hour week over four days. Motivated by the well-being of its employees, he planned 5 to 10% of his budget to make the transition. A margin that he ultimately did not need:

“I wondered economically what it was going to cost the company… And it went beyond what I imagined. It brought well-being and happiness to the teams, and to the really incredible efficiency. And from an accounting point of view it’s more than viable. That is to say that I make moneywith the four-day week” says the entrepreneur.
