Creation of BPCE IT Solutions to serve all business lines…

BPCE IT Solutions thus brings together 2,600 employees, information systems professionals from i-BP (Banque Populaire IT), IT-CE (IT and Technologies Caisse d’Epargne) and CIOs from the SEF (Services and Expertise Financial) and Group Insurance. This new group is now a major employer in the field of IT with the annual recruitment of around 100 permanent employees and 100 work-study employees.

Present throughout France, thanks to its 19 regional offices, BPCE IT Solutions designs banking and insurance solutions for advisers and customers Banque Populaire, Caisse d’Epargne, Crédit Coopératif, Banque de Savoie, Crédit Maritime, Banque BCP, Banque Palatine and Socfim. It also develops IT applications for head office employees and back offices in the insurance and specialized financial services businesses (consumer credit, factoring, leasing, etc.).

With 80 businesses represented, this new company is developing more than 1,000 banking applications for 60 million customer accounts, including the mobile apps of Banque Populaire (2.7 million unique visitors/month) and Caisse d’Epargne (5, 1 million unique visitors/month), both rated 4.7/5 in the App Store, the highest score of traditional banks.

Biography of Gwilherm Le Donné,
Chief Executive Officer of BPCE IT Solutions

A graduate engineer from the Ecole Polytechnique and Télécom Paris, Gwilherm Le Donné began his career as head of the Telecoms office at the Ministry of the Interior from 1993 to 1996. He worked as project manager for IT projects intended for the national police or civil security, in the areas of operational messaging and command rooms.

He then headed the SI division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs until 2000.

He then joined GC2I as Director of Information Systems until 2001, a position he then held when IT was created, Banque Populaire, before being appointed Deputy Managing Director of the company in 2011.

From 2014 to 2015, he led the project to create BPCE Infogérance et Technologies before taking over as Chief Executive Officer until 2018. In April of that same year, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of IT-CE.

Since 1er April 2022, Gwilherm Le Donné is Director of BPCE IT Solutions, reporting to Laurent Benatar, Chief Technology and Operations Officer and member of the Groupe BPCE General Management Committee.
