Why did you create this degree?

According to an OECD study, 32% of current jobs are set to be profoundly transformed by technological progress over the next twenty years, requiring enhanced collaboration between man and machine and mobilizing new skills. Automation of work tasks, robot surgeons, disease prediction, chatbot, recruitment algorithms… Artificial Intelligence has started to cause many upheavals in the world of work, opening the door to a certain transformation. If IPAG already offers dozens of programs geared towards the professions of tomorrow, we have a duty to support this digital revolution by offering, from the start of the 2023 academic year, a course dedicated to Artificial Intelligence. The objective of this “Management of Artificial Intelligence” course is, for students, to put AI at the service of man and society.

Are executives aware of the importance of AI for their business?

A real revolution is taking place. If for a long time, Artificial Intelligence has been used for industrial purposes, it constitutes one of the great challenges of the 21st century, and this, in many fields: health, logistics, security, education, finance, space, climate, sport, mobility, human resources…

According to the PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers) AI Forecast Report, 62% of executives predict that predictive analytics will augment their business decisions; which will result in greater efficiency in the years to come. What is the content of this new training?

The 3-year course called “AI Track Management” allows students to acquire the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence with an operational dimension of management.

The program allows students to acquire an overview of the changes involved in the adoption of Artificial Intelligence in the various structures, to understand the ethical issues and the risks associated with this technology. But also to obtain the essential keys to launch an AI project and to know how to communicate within and outside your organization on the adoption of these technologies.

Managers must acquire a practical basis of AI and its applications in the various fields, in order to meet the challenges associated with its implementation to effectively benefit from it.

Through a mix of key technologies, business insights, case examples and their own business-focused project, we invite students to explore the reality of key AI technologies and how they can be leveraged to meet business needs.

Experts from 3IA, INRIA, MIA, OTESIA, AI specialists on our Riviera territory, are there to show students how Artificial Intelligence can complement and strengthen the workforce rather than eliminating jobs. In addition, the program will emphasize how the collective intelligence of people and computers can solve business, societal, ethical, environmental problems, which not so long ago was considered impossible. .

What professions can students turn to?

Graduates will be able to turn to management and business professions with an AI dimension in order to develop business operations with new innovative technologies that are essential for the future of Artificial Intelligence.

For example, the AI marketing manager uses Artificial Intelligence software to improve knowledge of the market and users of a product. He then establishes a marketing strategy to target customers from these same software. It is also required to develop the marketing of new NFT-type products on new markets such as the metaverse. Similarly, in finance, theAI finance analyst evaluates the profitability of investments in companies and helps facilitate investment decision-making through these AI-developed algorithms.
