Tchek accompanies the life of the used vehicle

Expert in image analysis, the French company continues to develop solutions dedicated to automotive professionals via its own imaging and artificial intelligence technologies. Called Alto AI, the artificial intelligence developed by Chek can be assembled in the form of modules, ready to use or built to measure. It offers several tools such as Tchek Inspection, which assesses repair costs and produces a report, and Tchek Remarketing, which standardizes and publishes vehicle images for online publication and resale. And the youngest: Tchek Remote Recovery. This new tool allows professionals to perform remote pick-ups thanks to a assisted inspection by artificial intelligence Alto AI. The objective of this solution is to facilitate the remote recovery of second-hand vehicles by professionals, whether from private individuals or professionals, thanks to an inventory of the vehicles and a quick estimate of repair costs. Accessible from a computer, smartphone and tablet, the professional who wishes to buy used cars remotely creates a file, then sends a link by email or SMS to the seller. For his part, the latter carries out a self-inspection by taking a photo of the vehicle. Then, the Alto AI technology checks the conformity of the images and identifies scratches, frictions and bumps up to two centimeters thick. The AI calculates the cost of repairs in seconds and the price list for each company, recognizing the registration and the VIN. This tool also provides leads quality to professionals.

Bring more solutions to customers

As Anton Fert, CEO and co-founder of Tchek explains: This technology provides concrete answers to the problems encountered by automotive professionals, such as vehicle sourcing, the optimization of inspection processes for purchase and resale, or the growing phygitalisation of the sales process. Regarding the future of Tchek Reprise à distance, the company says it is convinced that it can be applied to different sectors such as leasing and insurance, its next markets, and is delighted with the first positive feedback. In the coming months, the solution will be available in the UK and Germany, followed by other European countries. In addition, the company intends to deploy its technology on a larger scale, in particular by interfacing it with other tools and by responding to demand from other mobility markets, while expanding its data set. In addition to its presence in 13 countries, including Morocco and the United Arab Emirates, the company also has the ambition to deploy even more internationally in the coming years.

In addition, after a first fundraising in January 2021, Tchek announces that it has completed a new round of financing during the summer. The company has thus raised more than 5 million euros in less than two years. ” We are delighted to welcome Crédit Agricole Alpes-Provence among our investors, and thank Demeter and Région Sud Investissement for their renewed confidence since they also wished to take part in this new financing round. Our Alto AI technological core and the solutions we are developing on this basis will thus be able to enter a new dimension. While we will be able to better meet the growing needs of AI-assisted inspection, analysis and image processing of the automotive industry », comments Anton Fert. For 2023, the objective is to offer its modular solutions to as many automotive professionals as possible. The development of new solutions is also planned for next year.
